2016 Mon Petit Cheval Pinot Noir

Medium garnet in appearance with slight brick hints on the edge.

Subtle black cherry and plum fruit aromas with a violet lift and secondary notes of herbs and forest floor giving the wine an earthy complexity.

The palate is well integrated with dark cherry, spice, dried herbs and fine tannins flowing onto a lengthy savoury finish.

Unfined and unfiltered

2021 Mon Cheval Riesling
NZ$30.00

This Riesling presents pale straw to light green hues, suggesting its youthful nature. Intense citrus aromas dominate the nose, with notes of lime, lemon zest, and grapefruit. A subtle hint of minerality evokes the terroir of the vineyard.

On the palate, this medium Riesling showcases a perfect balance between crisp acidity and natural sweetness. Flavors of green apple, ripe pear, and citrus dominate the taste buds. There's a lovely tension between the vibrant fruitiness and the wine's mineral backbone, leading to a lingering finish.

This is a versatile wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of dishes, from fresh seafood to spicy Asian cuisine

2022 Mon Cheval Rosé

A delicate, pale salmon pink, exhibiting clarity and brilliance in the glass. An inviting bouquet of fresh strawberries intertwined with subtle floral notes of rose petals and a hint of watermelon. The palate is bright and lively, showcasing a harmonious blend of ripe strawberries, underscored by hints of white peach and melon. The wine offers a crisp, refreshing acidity and a touch of minerality, adding complexity. Elegant and clean, with a refined, dry finish that leaves a refreshing impression.

Ideal as an aperitif, this Rosé also pairs beautifully with light dishes such as fresh salads, grilled seafood, and soft cheeses.
